Call Of Duty: Black Ops

Today, November 9, was the release of the latest first person shooter game Call of Duty: Black Ops. This is the seventh latest installment for the Call of Duty series. The video game will be released for various systems including the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, the Nintendo Wii, the Nintendo DS, and for Microsoft Windows computers. This is the first Call of Duty release taking place during the Cold War era. The game is also the third to be developed by Treyarch after Infinity Ward no longer is designing the games. 

Yesterday, at our local Blockbuster, there was a Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 tournament in support and anticipation for the release of Black Ops. Our local reporter Robert Williams and junior Alex Montero won the tournament winning a free copy of the new release and a free month of movie and video game rentals. When asked how the tournament went Robert Williams responded with “It was too easy, however, it was a good thing we didn’t play Steven Chen and Eric Rios, since they should have won the tournament.”
