Dixon Girls Win Over Vallejo

The Girls Basketball team played Vallejo on the 12^thof January. The Lady Rams won 48-31. The Rams started out playing well with Laura Garcia scoring two three pointers to give the Rams a 6 point lead within the first couple of minutes.

Both teams were struggling with their passes throughout the game, which led to many turnovers during the first half, but because of the Ram’s tough defense, Vallejo turned the ball over  many times. The Rams didn’t let up until around the fourth quarter when Vallejo finally got their score into the double digits.

The top scorer of the night was number 32 Miranda Williams with 10 points and 16 rebounds. She contributed a lot to the Lady Rams win, but overall the team did really well together.
