Rugby Result
This past weekend, the Rugby team travelled to the So Cal Tournament. They left on Friday morning around 10 and after a 9 hour car ride the guys finally arrived in San Diego. On Saturday, they played 2 games. They ended up beating both of the teams. The final scores were 36-12 and 12-5. This was a great way to kick off the season and hopefully this will give them winning momentum for the rest of their season.
On 1/29 the team will be participating in another tournament held in Sacramento. It is the annual Rugby Kick-Off Tournament. Each year this tournament starts the new rugby season. The competition is tough with teams like Jesuit and Christian Brothers.
Unfortunately, this year’s Senior Ball is also being held on the 29th. This means that all of the seniors will be leaving the tournament early to go get ready for the dance. Hopefully they won’t miss too much and the team will be able to win without them.
