Game vs Mesa Verde
On Wednesday, the 16th of February, the Varsity boys basketball team played Mesa Verde. The Rams record for this season is 2-6 in league. They played the 5-3 Mesa Verde team. The last time these teams played each other, Mesa Verde won 62-58. This time, the Rams played at home and with the hometown sprit, the Rams pulled off the win with an ending score of 75-68. The last time they played eachother, the tensions were high between the players, since Dixon only lost by a few points. The tension continued through out the game on Wednesday.
Logan Mitchell, Michael Tomolloso, Bryan Hallowel and Jake Moraes all had big night for the Rams. Tomolloso had the most points for the Rams that night with 20. There was a total of 8 threes. Tomolloso had five of those threes by himself. Logan Mitchell had the next most points with 17. Moraes and Hallowell both had 13.
The last game of the season for the boys is on Friday the 18th. They don’t have any chance of making the playoffs. The boys will play Marysville who has a record of 2-7. Hopefully the boys will end the season well with a win on Friday.
