Volleyball game: Dixon vs. Capital Christian
The Lady Rams had a home volleyball game against Capital Christian on September 26, 2011. This was a very difficult match for Dixon.
The Lady Rams went into this game expecting it to be a tough match but were looking forward to playing against them. They saw this as an opportunity to prove themselves. Since the begining of their season, Dixon had been anticipating Capital Christian to be their biggest competition in league. They had seen the talent of the team and how tall some of the girls were so they were expecting it to be a hard game.

When this match began, Dixon was full of energy. The match gave the girls a challenge. They went to three games; however, it ended as a win for Capital Christian.
The first game was 18 to 25; Capital Christian. Dixon was prepared to bounce back and not let this get them down so they continued to play hard. Capital Christian was having very strong hits, and Dixon was making perfect passes which put the ball in play. Both teams were going back and forth with hits and trying to force an error by the other team, but both teams were playing too well and neither was going to let up.
The following game was 16 to 25; Capital Christian. Capital Christian did not let their win go to their head. The Rams had their minds set to get a win in this game. The Lady Rams were communicating and working together to not get down on themselves. Each person was on their toes and prepared for whatever came their way.
The final game was 15 to 25; Capital Christian. Dixon went into this game knowing that if they did not win,the match would be over and the win would go to Capital Christian. After two wins, Capital Christian was not letting up at all and kept making the Lady Rams work hard. Dixon had many hits at them, but Capital Christian’s back row was ready and continued to communicate and put the ball in play. The front row was giving Capital Christian hard hits right back at them. Sadly, Capital Christian was able to get the win again in this game.
The overall score of this match was 0 to 3; Capital Christian. The Lady Rams made it an exciting game to watch and should not let this discourage them. Dixon is preparing for all of their other games and want to continue to play hard and get more wins.
