DHS Telegram membership drive

Here at the DHS Telegram, our primary goal is to increase the number of people reading the articles we post on this site. On October 24th, we started a membership drive that will continue until November 14th. The membership drive serves two purposes for the DHS Telegram. The first purpose is to gain members on the site. An increase in members also means more traffic on the site. The second purpose is to fundraise money through pledges given from new members participating in the membership drive.

By being a member of the DHS Telegram website, you can post comments on the articles and editorials on the site. Also, if you would like, we can send you updates and notifications about different things going on in the website. Becoming a member on this website costs absolutely no money. All you have to do is go onto the main menu of the DHS Telegram website, and click on the login/register button. After clicking on this button, follow the link to create a username and password. After this very quick process, you will be a registered member on the DHS Telegram website!

Although it costs no money to become a member on the DHS Telegram website, pledges for each new membership are encouraged. The pledges that we receive from our new members provide for essential items used in the journalism classroom, such as computers and video/photo equipment. Each employee at the DHS Telegram is required to raise $50 or more for this membership drive, so if you are interested in making a pledge feel free to ask anyone on the DHS Telegram staff to help you out. All contributions are tax-deductible. If your pledge is in the form of a check, please make it out to DHS Journalism.

Please show some support for the DHS Telegram by becoming a member on the website and making a pledge to provide for equipment. Help make this publication the best it can be!
