D land Wesker stories

Is the Wesker group a gang or a crew?  There have been many people in Dixon that say  that the Weskers is a form of a “gang.” However, the Weskers claim that they are not a gang. There have been reports of Weskers stealing from local stores. One local Wesker member claims that he will never be caught stealing from any store. The group has yet to vandalize any place in Dixon, California.

The founder of the Wesker group is Kyle Wesker. I asked the founder if the group is just in Dixon, California, or if the group expands to other cities. Kyle said, “No, we are the main branch, but there are other branches in other states like Washington.” My interview included five of the Weskers. The leader of  the younger branch is Andre Wesker, which is actually just his street name. I asked the young man what he is planning to teach the youth, and he said that he plans to teach them the way of Wesker. “We are like a family , and we do what we have to, but we don’t do anything against the law,” said Andre. “I’m teaching the younger children not to drink, smoke, or steal.”

Anix Wesker  is another member of the group. However, he refused to give his real name. It made me wonder why they do not want to expose their real names, but this will always remain a secret. Anix pulled out a lighter and a toy gun from his back pack. Since he  is under 18, I know that he did not buy them. When I asked the kids what the group is about, they told me that the group is just a bunch of  friends that hang out and have fun together. They did not seem to care about  life choices, as long as the choices are not bad. They kept reminding me that they were like a family.

The group was started in October of 2007. Stavo Wesker joined in May of 2010, and Jacob Wesker joined in 2009. There is more than one way to join the group. One way to join this group is participating in a yearly raffle. Another way to join is by an initiation process,where the oldest of  the group (or the leader) approves or denies your entrance. When Andre Wesker joined this year, he  proved himself to be a great leader. The leader will be wearing patches soon, and the group is planning to get patches made for the amount of work you put into the group. The patches will start off the pledge, the member, the leader, the worker, and the chapter leaders. There will be a patch for each chapter. They have plans to make shirts for each Wekser, and they will all have their own with the Wesker symbol on it.

I asked all of the Weskers what they have to say about other people calling them a “gang”. They said that they are not a gang and for all the haters, quit hating! There have been many people opposing this group. There are also some former Weskers that hate on the group since they were kicked out because of illegal activity. Others dislike the group because they were not accepted to be a part of the group. Many people say that the Weskers are a gang, and that they are beating and jumping kids after school.

There has overall been a lot of bad talk about this group of teenagers. Their intentions are not bad, yet they can sometimes send people the wrong message.
