Top 10 games that should be movies

Resident Evil, Prince of Persia, Mario, Mortal Kombat, Hitman, Tekken, Pokemon, and most memorably Doom. All of these are affiliated with games becoming major motion pictures that have unfortunately failed to wow crowds. However, there are still many games that have been left unchoosen to become movies. Many of these games have spectacular characters and phenomenal storylines , which is the reason people continue to buy and play them for days, weeks, and months at a time. Once again this is strictly a personal opinion and does not reflect on the views of the website. 

10. Left 4 Dead- Just another zombie game, yea right! The characters are Francis, a stiff stubborn biker who is foul mouthed and possibly enjoys killing the zombies. There is also Bill, a war veteran who is most inclined to heal you throughout the game. Zoey, the only female character who is a university student. And Louis, an African American accountant manager. The plot is about these survivors of an infectious virus, throughout the game play they pick an array of weapons arranging from pistols to pipe bombs. There are four story modes, and in each they end with a survival level that ends with scrolling stats of your previous achievements. People that would play characters: Will Smith, Zooey Saldana, and Bruce Willis.

9. Assassin’s Creed- This is game has a a great story line that involves an (obviously) assassin Altaïr who is trying to kill the Templars, who wants to want to hide secrets. The fighting would intrigue a lot of people and create a good fighting genre. People that would play Altaïr- Hayden Christenson.

8. Twisted Metal Black- The concept of the game is much like the motion picture “Death Race”, however the game itself revolves around few specific characters that you can choose from. Once you beat the game with one character you get to watch what they won, and each of them have personal aspirations that they wish to acquire. The movie would involve a ton of action sequences and story lines for each character that would add the involvement of the audience.

7. Zelda- One of the most well known games in history, with the famous heroes, villains, and the iconic triforces. Link, the main character, is a young boy from the empire Hyrule, where the Princess Zelda rules. Zelda is Link’s love. The movie would have to influence a deep story and a spectacular fighting scenes with Link and the main antagonist, Gannondorf. People who would star in the movie would be Josh Hutcherson and Seychelle Gabriel.

6. Bioshock-  The story line is set in the fifties, when the main character, Jack, is involved in a plane crash over the ocean. He swims to a building that is floating in the middle of the ocean, takes an elevator to the bottom level, and finds an underwater civilization called Rapture. He meets Andrew Ryan, the leader of Rapture, and realizes that the whole place is demented. He then goes on a journey to escape. People who would star: James Franco.

5. Gears of War- The main focus of this game is the Delta Squad who arrive on the planet Sera, and fight against the alien horde, the Locust. The main character is Marcus Fenix who would be portrayed by the pro wrestler Batista. The movie would include the main fighting sequences and would involve tons of alien monsters brutally fighting against the Delta Squad.

4. God of War- The main character is Kratos, a demigod who plans on taking revenge on the gods. He then runs rampant over the gods, killing and defeating them. The person who would play him would be Shemar Moore.

3. Kingdom Hearts- This story involves a young kid, Sora who is chosen to be the key master. His friends are then taken away by the darkness and Sora goes on an extensive journey to save them and stop the darkness from spreading. The game takes a very long time to complete and has an amazing back story that entices kids of all ages. Sora may possibly be played by Daniel Radcliff and the main girl, Kiari would be played by Lyndsy Fonseca.

2. Fallout- The game starts of 200 years after an nuclear holocaust set in a large area around Washington, D.C. A kid is born and when his father leaves the shelter, he goes looking for him. The game is a sandbox style game that relies mostly on your choices like dialogue, karma, and how you are treated by others. The game has incredible characters and unforgettable scenes. The movie would most likely have an all star cast like Robert Downy Jr., Micheal Duncan Clark, or maybe even Shia LeBouf.

1. Halo- This iconic franchise is undoubtedly someday be motion picture history. With all the buzz of a movie in the works, it’s still debatable that it’ll ever get finished. The plot is about an alien force, The Covenant attack on Earth and the army eventually landing on an artificial planet that is home to many Covenant. The war for dominance rages on. The franchise has made multiple games, all with great praise and each adding on to the back story and legacy. If this movie is ever to be made it will employ phenomenal arrange of effects and cast. The main character, or Master Chief was originally supposed to be played by Denzel Washington however past his prime, I personally believe it shall be another up and coming actor who has enough respect and authority to hold his own.
